Overview


The Settings Glossary helps traders understand the purpose of each parameter and how adjustments can affect signal behavior, chart visualization, and backtesting outcomes.

Signal Settings

Signal Mode

Off

Disables all signals


Basic

Displays standard entry, take-profit, and stop-loss levels according to the Risk/Reward setting.


Advanced

Enables multiple take-profit levels based on the Risk/Reward setting.


Custom

Allows users to define their own take-profit and stop-loss percentages.


Signal History

Disabled

Hides historical signals


Enabled

Displays previous entry, take-profit, and stop-loss signals on the chart, helping users review past market behavior.


Stop-Loss Lookback

Defines the number of bars to review for swing highs and lows when placing stop-losses. The default is 2 bars and can be set from 1 to 100 to adjust sensitivity.


Risk/Reward Ratio

Sets the multiplier for calculating take-profit levels relative to the stop-loss distance.Values range from 1 to 10 and apply to Basic and Advanced signal modes.


Entry, Take-Profit, and Stop-Loss Colors

Users can assign custom colors to entries, take-profits, and stop-loss levels.

Filters

Session Filter

Allows users to define the active trading hours in HHMM-HHMM format. Only signals generated within the session are displayed.


Noise Filter

Enabled

Applies additional conditions to filter out false signals.


Disabled

Removes the filter, showing all signals regardless of market noise.


Higher TF Confluence Filter

Disabled

The filter is turned off. All signals are shown regardless of the trend on higher timeframes.


Enabled (Auto)

Automatically selects a higher timeframe based on the current chart’s timeframe. Signals are only considered valid if they align with the trend on this higher timeframe.


1 Minute

Checks the 1-minute chart for trend alignment before validating signals. Only signals matching the trend on the 1-minute chart are accepted.


5 Minute

Checks the 5-minute chart for trend alignment before validating signals. Only signals matching the trend on the 5-minute chart are accepted.


15 Minute

Checks the 15-minute chart for trend alignment before validating signals. Only signals matching the trend on the 15-minute chart are accepted.


1 Hour

Validates signals against the 1-hour chart trend, helping to reduce false signals in intraday trading.


4 Hour

Confirms signals using the 4-hour chart trend, providing stronger intraday-to-swing trend confirmation.


1 Day

Filters signals according to the daily chart trend, ideal for swing or position trading.


1 Week

Ensures signals align with the weekly chart trend, useful for longer-term trend confirmation.


1 Month

Uses the monthly chart to confirm the overall long-term trend before accepting signals.


Volatility Filter Sensitivity

Determines how sensitive the filter is to price volatility. Higher values block more signals during volatile periods. Values range from 1 to 5 in 0.5 increments.

Custom Signals

Custom Take-Profit Percentage

Allows users to set a custom take-profit level when Signal Mode is Custom. Adjustable from 0.1% in 0.05% increments.


Custom Stop-Loss Percentage

Sets a custom stop-loss for Custom mode. Adjustable from 0.1% in 0.05% increments.


Custom TP/SL Colors

Users can choose separate colors for the custom take-profit and stop-loss plots.

Astra Cloud

Astra Cloud Mode

Disabled

Hides the Astra Cloud overlay.


Enabled

Shows a dynamic support and resistance cloud to highlight trend zones.


Astra Cloud Sensitivity

Sensitivity options 1 through 4 adjust the cloud’s responsiveness. Lower values follow short-term trends, higher values follow long-term trends.


Astra Cloud Colors

Users can customize Astra Cloud colors to distinguish bullish and bearish for better visualization.

Bar Coloring

Bar Coloring

Disabled

Shows standard candlesticks.


Enabled

Colors bars according to bullish or bearish price action.


Bar Colors

Users can assign colors for bullish and bearish bars, enhancing visual clarity.

Chart Customization

Entry Label Size

Tiny

Sets the entry, take-profit, and stop-loss labels to the smallest size.


Small

Increases the labels slightly for better visibility


Normal

is the default size, balancing readability and chart space.


Large

Makes the labels more prominent for easier identification.


Huge

Enlarges the labels to the maximum size, ideal for users who want very clear chart annotations.


Signal Label Size

Tiny

Sets signal labels to the smallest size on the chart.


Small

Increases their visibility slightly.


Normal

Is the default size for standard readability.


Large

Makes the labels prominent for easier tracking of signals.


Huge

Maximizes label size, making all signals extremely clear on the chart.


Label Distance

Users can assign colors for bullish and bearish bars, enhancing visual clarity.


Dotted Line Length (Bars)

Determines how far the dotted projection lines for Entry, Take-Profit, and Stop Loss levels extend across the chart.


Advanced

Calculated Bars

Controls how many historical bars are used for chart plotting and visual calculations. Setting a value that exceeds the available chart data may result in calculation errors.


Entry/TP/SL Offset Percentage

Users can assign colors for bullish and bearish bars, enhancing visual clarity.
